This was the last prototype I created while working in the MAD Open Studios. It’s a prototype for a cast resin sculpture (in this case I just used acetate printed using an inkjet printer, to test the scale, depth and resolution of the layers). I’ve seen four or five other artists using this technique but to my knowledge no one has used it to reconstruct a 3d digital model before. I am also working on layered canvases with inkjet gel medium transfers, and will post some images of that soon…
